Do you offer direct billing?I offer direct billing for Canada Life, Desjardin, Manulife, Blue Cross. Receipts are provided for reimbursements from individual insurance companies outside of this list.

Where are you located?In-person sessions are offered at my office: 169 Broadway St Unit B, Tillsonburg ON, N4G 5X7 Virtual sessions are available through a secure portal, for residents of Ontario & Nova Scotia.

How much do you charge?Individuals: $200.00 for 50 minute sessions (in-person or virtual.) Couples: $250.00 for 50 minute sessions (in-person or virtual.)

Do you accept any other insurance companies?Some additional insurance companies may have coverage for counselling services in addition to the ones listed. Please don't hesitate to enquire about your coverage availability.

Is a hormone-centred approach to counselling right for me?If you sense that your changing hormones & cycle could be impacting your mental health, quality of life, or ability to feel content in any way, this type of counselling can help. My goal for my clients is to help you work through the physical and mental complexities of hormonal fluctuations that might be holding you back from being the person you want to be. I want you to be able to learn about self acceptance and advocating for what you need to be and feel your best! You deserve to experience some level of peace and stability throughout the month and through their journey with PMS, PMDD, perimenopause and menopause- because we should be able to enjoy life to the full extent without worrying about our hormones controlling our happiness.

Do I have to be going through perimenopause or menopause to benefit from this type of counselling?No! There are many factors or conditions that can impact your mental health when it comes to hormones. Some women experiences PMS, PMDD, and other hormonal fluctuations can see the negative impact that our feminine cycles can have- this type of counselling can help.

Does couples counselling really work?There is no cut and dry answer to this. In my experience- many couples have success in rejuvenating their dedication to their relationship- but every situation is different. When I work with couples I like to understand each as individuals and how your life works as a couple, my goal is to help you find that sweet spot blending everything together so that you can both be your best selves while being a supportive and loving partner. Couples counselling works for those who are dedicated to restoring their connection.

Who are your Couples Intensives best suited for?The Couples Intensives work best for relationships when: Both partners are eager to make swift changes. Healing from infidelity is a priority. Growing distance or ongoing distress is becoming more discouraging. Busy schedules make it hard to consistently attend weekly therapy sessions. Feel like they're not making progress with weekly therapy. Understand it's crucial to address the underlying issues. One or both partners require more privacy than their current setting provides. The thought of a getaway together offers some comfort.

What type of relationships are not a good fit for Couples Intensives?Couples Intensives are not an appropriate fit for couples who are dealing with the following issues: One or both partners are struggling with an active addiction. One or both partners are dealing with serious mental health issues. There is intimate partner violence, whether emotional, verbal, or physical. Neither partner is fully committed to working on or healing the relationship. An affair is still ongoing or infidelity has occurred in the last six months. There is a history of physical abuse in the relationship. Individuals who struggle with explosive rage. Individuals who currently have criminal charges. Individuals who are no longer in love with their partner.
