Many women I work with come because they feel overwhelmed with all the things, feel like they aren’t doing anything right, weighed down by shame and feeling like they are losing their minds!   

When we unpack all the shitty feelings we also explore the role our hormones play.  Many women face challenges like PMS, PMDD, Postpartum, Perimenopause, and Menopause that leave them feeling overwhelmed, inconsistent, and misunderstood.

 

Hormonal chaos doesn’t have to define your life. Stabilizing the ups and downs is possible, and I’m here to guide you every step of the way. You deserve to feel at peace in your mind and body while strengthening your relationships and embracing your full potential. Let’s work together to help you get there.

We all dream of a loving partnership filled with peace and harmony, but life often has other plans. Between the demands of work, kids, finances, in-laws, and more, it’s easy to feel disconnected and end up in the dreaded roommate phase!

You might feel like you and your partner are navigating the same situation but interpreting it in completely different ways—leading to confusion, frustration, and conflict. Many couples try patchwork solutions, only to find themselves back in the same cycle of misunderstanding the next month.

 

Most of us weren’t taught how to manage conflict in our relationships!  We don’t know how to not get defensive, take things personally and get through a heated conversation without tossing nasty comments!
 

Couples therapy can help you break free from this cycle, rebuild trust in yourself and your partner, and create a healthier, more connected relationship.

In addition to supporting couples & women clients, I help individuals with many different issues that pop in life.  This could be separation support, grief, anxiety, depression, setting personal and career goals, improving relationships and communication with others, parenting stressors, self doubt and self growth.

If the thought of navigating your intense feelings is overwhelming, it is best to seek support somewhere rather than to continue struggling on your own!  My goal is always to ensure clients have the right support so if I ever feel that a different service or clinician would be better suited to help you I will point you in the right direction.

who am i?

I’m Jessica Sarafinchin, the heart and soul behind JTS Counselling Services. My goal is to bring warmth, expertise, and humor to every session. As a caring and skilled therapist, I’m passionate about helping women find clarity and peace through the complexities of hormonal transitions, parenting, processing past experiences and setting goals for the future.

My approach blends evidence-based techniques with an authentic, down-to-earth style that puts clients at ease and fosters meaningful growth.
 

My aim isn’t just to provide therapy; I want to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to explore your feelings, unpack life’s vulnerabilities, and build a stronger connection to your true, wonderful self.
