Get To Know Me
Registered Master-Level Social Worker & Menopause Mental Health Certified Practitioner
Hi, I’m Jessica!
I’m the heart and soul behind JTS Counselling Services. My goal is to bring warmth, expertise, and humor to every session. As a caring and skilled therapist, I’m passionate about helping women find clarity and peace through the complexities of hormonal transitions, parenting, processing past experiences and setting goals for the future.
My approach blends evidence-based techniques with an authentic, down-to-earth style that puts clients at ease and fosters meaningful growth.
My aim isn’t just to provide therapy; I want to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to explore your feelings, unpack life’s vulnerabilities, and build a stronger connection to your true, wonderful self.
I’m a mom navigating the joys and challenges of raising teenagers while also finding my way through the transitions of midlife. My husband and I often laugh (and sometimes groan) about where the time has gone as we adjust to having more space to rediscover ourselves. Life is a mix of chaos, joy, hurt and repair. Life throws us lots of ups and downs and we all do our best grow into the person we want to become, while also being present with the people in our lives.
I love aligning with who my clients are at their core and coming up with creative ways of helping make sense of all their things!

What You Can Expect
As someone who’s been through it, I know the power of having your feelings, perceptions, and experiences validated. I’m here to offer you that space—one where your struggles are heard, your concerns are addressed, and your potential is celebrated.
We’ll work together to:
-
Heal past wounds that may be holding you back.
-
Focus on building a confident, empowered present and future.
-
Bust the myth that you have to “just deal with” hormonal chaos
Over time, I've noticed that many clients want the opportunity to really dig in—to move beyond weekly sessions and create meaningful momentum. In response, I now offer Individual and Couples Intensives, which provide extended, focused time to explore patterns, repair disconnection, rebuild trust, and create clarity and direction in a more concentrated way.
I like to have fun.
Therapy can be both meaningful and enjoyable! I believe laughter belongs in the healing process, so don't be surprised if we smile, joke, and keep things real along the way.
